Ibtihal Aboussad

Ibtihal Aboussad is an organizer with No Azure for Apartheid, a group of current and former Microsoft workers, demanding that Microsoft end all contracts and partnerships with the Israeli military and government. In April 2025, she was fired from her role at Microsoft AI, after disrupting the company’s anniversary event to denounce their role in powering genocide and apartheid. Since then, she has continued her efforts with this campaign, and she has been a vocal advocate against corporate complicity in occupation, and the imperative and methods to resist this complicity.
